While my eye design collections have went on a hold-status...... until I can find time to clear up the problems with getting permission from the publishers to use those designs, I will have to put it on hold for a while. Those designs are not public domain.


I would like to move on to hair design collection, for I recognize my need of it, and many other's need for it.
But this time I rather not repeat the mistake I made with the eyes design. I would like to collect the hair design from artists like you, not artists who are under a giant publisher.

Everyone will handle hair designs differently, no matter how simple, how complex, as long as you made it, it has you in it. And I want to collect that to put into a collection so everyone can learn from one another.


I recognize others have done similar things before, 500 manga eyes collection.... things like that. But those are usually done by only a few paid artists, I want to have a vast selection.

Design types I look for:

Any variety of design or style of hair will do, even ones that look like pre-existing series is fine, as long as you drew it and it's not a copy from a book, I will take it.


Requirements:

Need to show your whole hair design (no cropped close ups, too small is no good either.) If it's a long hair, I must see the end of it.

I will only use your design in Black and White, no color is required, but you may submit your color pieces for the record.

If you have the design in digital file, and have a large file from 150 dpi- 300 dpi, please send it to me via mayshing@gmail.com

(so I can do some editing and list them into the book directly, line work should be clean and obvious, or else it will be hard to use it.)

1. Let everyone see your design on the web and in printed book form (credit will be listed in alphabetical order, all copyright still belong to the author who created them.)


2. Give me the permission to publish your design as an act of donation to help others.


3. If you disappeared after your design is used, I can't afford trying to find you. So keep in touch if you want to know what is happening to this project. Try to keep things on DA or your personal site so people can find you from your design.


This project is currently non-profit, I will use the project to cover my cost for my time and printing and other things.... I don't know where this project will take me at this point, so I can't promise anything in related to money.

I will donate my own designs as well.
