First full colored short film. Now that I finished it, I am confident enough to consider submitting for a film festival, at the same time I don't feel it's that great of a film.

But I learned from making it, I will put more thoughts on in-betweening in my future pieces. So the next one will be better, for sure.


Time: 6 months (2 semesters at SVA, School of Visual Arts)
3 months of pre-production (script/storyboarding/animatic)

3 months of making (1.5 months of drawing/700 drawings in total/1 month of coloring/1month of compositing, including scanning...cleaning.... god, I don't want to go through that again.... )

Animated on paper, and some flash 8, after effects CS3

Composed in the dreaded After Effects (no... I should be thankful... but AF can drive you mad sometimes.)

EDIT, for the animation savvy people:
And I KNOW IT DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH INBETWEENs, let it go. -_-b I made a mistake not doing the proper amount of in-betweening on my first run, and ran out of time during production.... In order to finish everything I leave out most of the areas that needs to be "tweened," that's why it's so rough. In fact I did go back and added some frames, but it's still not quite there.

It's done, I am ready to move on, and I will do more in betweens in my future pieces.
