Some artists who are really skillful... practically handle all their eyes the similar way, there is no variety... Chobits is one of them. The manga can merely offer me variety of the same set of eyes... which Is pretty boring... Some of them invented one set of special eyes... then use similar designs all over the place and did not add to it... then they can't offer much in this field of study either... (a good example is Detective Conan, "Case Closed") And others, who are really inventive, like One Piece, Naruto, all have very interesting variety of eyes. Death Note offers realistic approach to eyes as well as some stylized variety, which I am also impressed by it. |
