This is a form I will use from now on to help me design it faster and more complete.

calender measure (time table): (Does their calender go by the moon, or sun? Or other planets?)
Races: (The races that inhabit the area, whether or not they're native.
Physical: (The ethnic description of your race: skin color, hair color, builds, dress)
Preference to fashion and beauty:
Weather patterns: (Tropical? Stormy? Cold? Earthquakes? Climate in general?)
-how the weather influence inhabitants behavior, travel
Major river and lakes?
Any construction around water source?
Creatures?
Agriculture: (main food source and crops)
Any hunting?
Controlled by?
Government:
____Feudal system (warrior rules)
____caste system (class/last name rules)

Map of the cityhow it's planned, is the city map rigid clean or natural and organic?)
List of Major Cities: (I do this to get a feel for the areas the characters will be visiting.)
Major guilds/groups/company/business in these cities:
Religion: (Monotheism? Pantheism? Atheism?) - power of religion and it's major function
Person of influence in the religion: (is it the government leader or someone else?)
Economy:
Currency, and it's relation to other countries:
Range of economy power in relation to other countries:
Main export:
Main imports:
Labor statistic: (source of labor, age statistics, birth rate/ death rate)
Labor law: (where is it fair or unfair)
Taxes:
Quote: (What someone from this area would talk like, or talk about.)
History/Legends/Folklore:
Any deity or god?
Mannerisms: (The likely way someone behaves if they're from this place. Because believe me, a fur-wrapped barbarian behaves in a very different way than a Greek statesman.)
Shared Belief system/value:
The rebel's value/belief system/expression:
Shared symbolism of speech:
Magic/Cult: (How it is treated by the country. Whether hated and feared, harnessed for industry, or nonexistent within it's borders, if magic has a presence in your story you ought to look at how it affects the larger picture than just your heroes and their journey.)

The form on DA is sort of my own back up. In case something happens to me, my computer, etc.
I am writing this for myself so I can make my own storytelling faster, better and more complete, but other people are welcome to use this as a resource for their own story making, I welcome additional information and thoughts. etc
How I use it... since I am a comic artist not writer, I just print this out, and do it sketchbook style going down the list of questions.
