Mayshing in Moon Festival 2

This pic turned out better than I expected. I love how it turned out, I was trying to capture the texture, colors that would be similar to the traditional Chinese ink painting. *dances* I break my own routine by celebrating this holiday... I might as well put some more up.

Medium: ink, photoshop

Techniques: *this will be annoying to write...but here i go. If you understand, good for you. ^^b

Step 1: New layer>> fill with Redish light brown,
Filter>>Noise>> Motion blur (90 degree)>> noise>>Clouds>> fade clouds(multiplies)>> touch up with sponge tool (desaturated)>> Burn tool.

Step 2: Make another layer(normal), brush(light yellow) and cover some area of the outline, make sure the layer is under that brown background layer. Then Filter>>noise. Some outline will look as though fading.

Step3: Make another normal layer, color in the character with thin color opacity.

Step 4: Make another layer(normal), do text... (I drew it this time)

Step 5: Moon and clouds: new layer(soft light) place it above all other layers.
