A fanart for tikal's original character, SpringFlower, and Autumn Moon, they are too cool to miss... X3 Her original work: [link]

this is from one of her original manga series I enjoyed reading. ^^ These two are my fav.

The part I struggled with most was the caligraphy, I wrote it... yes I wrote it! T^T The form looks good, but I had to do alot of the adjustment in photoshop because.... 1) it was written on a separate page, 2) I messed up on alignment.
Other wise.... I really liked the form of the words I wrote.... I am quite happy with that since I am only a newbie in this caligraphy area of practice.

Ooooooooooooh!!! cool!! Now I must read her manga too, since You, almighty one, suggested it. :giggle:
I love it...Well, I like all your work...I would be surprised if you just made I line on a pice of paper and I still tried to find something poetic/artistic about it. :|

But I love this picture, nevertheless. And the caligrapghy looks AWESOME to me...I can't do any of that..I'm still learning the Hiragana and Katakana....which is extremely fun to me..^^ I'm trying to translate my japanese Naruto manga...:rofl: So far, I just write the afore said characters down, then look at this sheet I have that has all the little squigels on it. So I have stuff like...

O on na gei...Nya tsu ki...

Or something like that..(Don't try to figure out what I said. I don't think it's anything...)
Then I Try to figure out WHAT it means..by what's happening in the pictures...I love pictures...
The great part about the whole thing, is that I've already seen the anime version of all the books I have...and that anime was subbed..SOOOOOOOOO I have a pretty good idea of what is going on..

Well, that had nothing to do with your picture, which was AWESOME....but yeah...

Hmm... I thought I had already commented on this picture, but that wasn't true. I probably didn't have enough time and quickly leafed through my message to know what was waiting for me. Anyway, I'll just give the comment now.

First thing: I can't give any help or good comment on your calligraphy. You consider yourself a newby. I have absolutely no idea what it's supposed to look like, so it would automatically look great even if you had probably messed it totally up. But I like that you've added it to the picture. You do that sometimes and it always fascinates me. I think it's wonderful that you can do this or at least try to learn it. ^_^

The picture itself seems to be different from your usual style, but that has probably to do with the fact it's fanart. I like it, though. Also the colours are, I think, splendid and very bright. Nicely done! :D
