I'm going to have to look at your gallery more
to improve on my own black characters (im too scared to color them)
Anyway, cool move on trying out black characters.
Make my people look good.
lol
Oh BTW
You can say "blacks".
It is much shorter.
lol
The multiple folds really
help with the pose. And finally someone
colors us blacks right
He look like he could be a future street fighter character "Ryu/Ken disciple"
Keep up the study work
Theres another thats from a anime that conisted of mulitiple
androids in red suits that air on cartoon network but I dont remember
the name of it.
Now adays though, people are coloring them better. Its funny how most of the are usually indian decent, most of the well made characters come off as indian, Scar, nadia, even that girl from "Oh my goddess". But its really a small agrument now adays but I love it when I see someone who draws african american and gets down the spirit of how s/he acts in posture and attitude.
Looking like Indians, that makes sense, because eastern asians are more familiar with indians than black ppl.
Since in eastern asia, people all pretty much look the same, usually when they observe black ppl, it's mostly from Hollywood, unfortunately.
I find black's skin quite intriquing, offering something most others don't have.
-good luck on your quest for improvement and art skill raising!
Anyway, I love how painterly and Soft this is~ 'tis akin to a Watercolor study, but in digital media (did you use Open Canvas for this? -you didn't list what software you used and I'm curious...)
Thank you for sharing.
-Daiko~
(has finally become human.)
(pray for me...)
Well... perhaps I will reconsider putting him back at the main gallery now that you commented that way.
